Time To Try Paleo?
Start losing fat instead of storing it. Paleo is great for taking your fitness to the next level and reducing body fat. You’ll have more energy, look and feel better. The paleo diet tells your body to stop storing fat and start burning it. We often hear, “CrossFit changed my life.” Now take the next step and maximize your nutrition. Paleo harkens back to before the agricultural revolution when people enjoyed the earth’s bounty of meat, fish, vegetables, nuts and fruit. You may learn more about paleo here. “Eat foods including: wild plants (fruits and vegetables), nuts, animal flesh, fish, and shellfish.” Do not “consume beans/legumes, any grains, a high amount of salt, any dairy, or any processed sugar.” Excerpts from www.paleodiet.org
According to one VCF athlete…
“I started paleo when I joined 50 other VCF athletes in the VCF+Whole Life Challenge and I’ve been eating paleo ever since. In the first month my body fat dropped from 19% to 12% and visibly I could see that an inch of body putty simply drained off me. My energy increased and my workout performance improved. My fitness level on Beyond the White Board went from the 14th percentile up to the 47th percentile! Paleo is very satisfying and I love it. Before paleo, I worked out so, so hard yet always had a gut. ”
It’s often said that, “Abs are made in the kitchen.” Now you’ve got the recipe!
